Thread: 40 micro cameras floating around in my digestive tract.

Default 40 micro cameras floating around in my digestive tract.

Very strange! Today I took a pill the size of a capsule Tylenol with 40 little cameras in it while under X-ray that images my stomach and will continue to image throughout my intestine and colon to find exactly where the obstruction is before I go into surgery again. My Dr knows proximity where it is but before he goes in, he wants an exact mapping. The least invasive, the better. Right now, he is guessing between 10 to 24 inches has to be sectioned. This test will give him exact accuracy. I go back for more images on the 29th to see if any of the cameras are remaining in my system. Tech sure has come a long way!!

Cammie, had a similar experience 7 years ago except it took 2 pictures every two seconds and was picked up to a receiver I wore. It only had one camera though.
It identified some small veins in my small intestine that were bleeding.
My outcome didn't require surgery...long story and many ways I was lucky.

I pray for only the best for you.

40 cameras all focused in on you the entire time? Thatís enough to give someone a complex!!

It really is amazing at how advanced technology is now. It also makes one wonder. If they can fit 40 cameras in a single pill the size of a Tylenol, what else is out there that we donít know about?

Prayers going up for you Cammie!! The little guy downstairs is sure scared of you and the big guy upstairs is still watching over you and keeping you safe!
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best

I bet those are some expensive disposable cameras.
