Default Will you gift yourselves this Christmas too?

We've all been pressured by this Covid-19 situation, some of us(including me) have developed anxiety over the course of months because of it and because I'm still afraid for my Dad that is vulnerable to this virus even though he's doing well in isolation with Mom.

So I guess, with all that's happening around lately, as probably some of you has been feeling anxious with the current news in your area, what would be the best gift you can give to yourself this Christmas as a reward for surviving this nightmare? I'd love to hear some of your tips. Thank you.

Btw, I'm planning to buy myself a pup this Christmas.

Me either, but, we bought a new house, had a new well and septic dug...we've been planning this for years. It's finally a dream come true and what a better time than now, right?

I'm not worried or concerned about this la rona, and only suffer some anxiety over those that would attempt to demand that I wear a mask. Fortunately I'm in Rural republic Texas and don't venture into the big socialist cities very often.

I made my wife an amazon list for christmas. That way she knows what im looking for. I will see what she buys and consider getting something for myself after.

I have been working with the public for most of this plandemic and am not anxious. I’m fairly certain my wife and I came down with it about a year ago, and we have both been exposed to it since then(working with kids you get exposed to a LOT of crap). With more lockdowns looming I decided to get a few things while I could. Mainly, it is stuff that will keep me busy if we are stuck at home again. Parts to swap the heavy AGM battery on a portable jump start unit over to lithium batteries. Parts to allow me to install a 750 watt solar setup at our new house. Parts to add a radio to my daughters power wheels. A long range scope for a .22 pistol. A VERY heavy 12” subwoofer(it weighs 30 pounds) so I can show my nephew the importance of high school math in the real world; i.e. using math to design a subwoofer enclosure.

Got a lot more parts for various other projects but those are most of them.

Oh wow, well lucky to those who don't really need to make a budget and just buy all what they want. I bought myself a PS5 and luckily I was able to make an order even with all the scrapers fighting over this console.
