Default Sermon to be delivered 11/15/20

I don't know the rules and regulations of this board, regarding religion. So, I will respectfully submit this and if it offends, I apologize in advance.

I was asked to deliver a talk at my church this Sunday, and I have been preparing it for a while. So after careful consideration, I chose to speak about the signs of the Tribulation. The whole subject annoys me because people keep talking about it as if it were just around the corner, or about it as it gets near because this sign or that sign and they know all this because of the signs. The worst is people knowingly predicting when it would happen, what's going to happen, and point to figures in history and present day as the major players (Four Horsemen and the Antichrist).

I also wrote this sermon strong enough that maybe, just maybe they won't EVER ask me to speak to the congregation again. Here it is, let me know what you think.

What if it was ALREADY HAPPENING?
The Bible is fairly clear about what the signs are, and I will try to reference to scripture in KJV as best I can.

Revelation 6:6 says a time of great inflation lies ahead for the world during the tribulation such that a "quart of wheat" will sell for a day's wages. Is this a potential? Just look at Venezuela. This is a country that has already seen inflation caused by government debt and printing of money. Let's take a look at our own country. In 1958, My dad bought his first house for $19,500 on a salary of $16,000. It was considered WAY too much house for an engineer, just starting a family. At his death, I sold the house for $1,300,000. I bought my first house for $250,000 on a salary of $50,000. The house was nowhere as nice as the house I grew up in. It was considered a dive in a not so nice neighborhood. Inflation, right?

The lock downs, the housing bubble, the tech collapse, the savings and loan bankruptcies. The enormous debt in the United States alone, along with its printing of money during the past decade has already pushed the economy to the edge of disaster.

How many more shocks will push it over the edge to great economic catastrophe and mind-boggling inflation and bring the same to the world?

Revelation 9:21 says people will not repent (stop) their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. Just as in the days of Noah, violence will fill the earth during the tribulation. Portland? Seattle? St. Louis? DC? New York? Chicago? Detroit? Riots? CHAZ?

Revelation 7:9-14 pictures a large multitude of martyrs that have come out of the "great tribulation." Are these the same ones John refers to in John 6:9 who were killed "for the word of God and witness they have borne"? We already see this violence against Christians in our world and the seeds of it in the United States. Does anyone think the over 300 churches in Europe all burned by accident? Christians and Jews are being persecuted in Africa, Middle East, China, India, and elsewhere.

Is there any doubt regarding "Pro Choice" in America who advocate abortion up to and after birth, who put patients sick with COVID-19 in nursing homes killing thousands of the elderly, and who send police to stop worship services? Someday the rage and hatred of the left in the US will erupt into violent and deadly persecution against those who hold fast to the Word of God. This is another clear sign of the Tribulation.

Matthew 24:15-20 tells us there will be a time of deadly violence against the Jewish people. In New York City, which is home to 1.8 million Jews, there was a record number of anti-Semitic attacks in 2019 and 2020. France and Germany are rapidly becoming unsafe places for the Jewish people.

We also see anti-Semitism at the United Nations. During the first couple months of the 2019-2020 session of the UN, they adopted 18 anti-Israel resolutions compared with just 7 concerning other nations. 167 countries gave a no confidence vote to the US, when our President recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Which leads us to...

Daniel 7:24-26 and Revelations 13:1-10 tell us that a world government will dominate the entire earth during the tribulation over which the antichrist will seize control. Today, we see this coming one-world government forming before our eyes.

The UN. The UN has increasingly involved itself in the governance of Soverign nations including the United States by forming a "World Court", adopting sweeping agreements and treaties designed to cripple some nations, while allowing others to flourish. These agreements systematically take away a country's soverignty. Out of these agreements, we get terms like "New World Order" and "Agenda 2030" and "New Green Deal".

Which leads us into our God-given Human rights. From Genesis 1:26-27, we know we are made in God's image and in Genesis 9:6, God established a penalty for the taking of a life. There are hundreds of scriptural references to human rights in the Bible. They support the bill of rights we enjoy as the first 10 amendments to our constitution. We are told by one of the authors of the Constitution, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." -- John Adams.

We know we are giving up our rights and watching them erode daily. Since the onset of COVID-19, the willingness of people in the United States to surrender their rights and freedoms has astounded me. Many blindly follow unconstitutional restrictions without protest or any resistance whatsoever. Jay Inslee, Governor of Washington, during one of his town halls spoke of our right to socialize as a justification to open casinos in his state, while keeping churches closed. Try as I might, I could find no scriptural or constitutional references that covered our right to the Slots.

This has been a successful test run for the globalists. The elite have learned that with a world crisis and control of the media, many people will unwittingly submit to whatever the government tells them with little or no resistance as long as it's for the "common good." Great fear and panic will also lead to a surrendering of rights and freedoms that will enable the globalists to finalize their plans for a New World Order. Revelations 13:7-10 sums it up.

I do not believe that Bill Gates is the antichrist nor do I think that his vaccine and its accompanying tattoo is the mark of the beast that we find described in Revelations 13:16-18. However, I do believe these things are also preparing the world for the control that the antichrist will exert over the world during the tribulation.

The idea that the government can require a vaccine along with proof of it to leave one's home and participate in society would have been thought tyrannical just a decade ago. But now, after the fear generated in the media over COVID-19, multitudes not only accept such an idea and see no problem with it, they are demanding it. In addition to this, we now have the technology for the antichrist to implement such a program worldwide. Revelations 13:16-18 is not here yet, but it's springing to life right before our eyes.

While the world remains distracted by COVID-19, tensions keep escalating in the Middle East. Israel has inflicted heavy damage on Iranian military installations in Syria in recent weeks. And, Iran continues to promise the world that it will soon wipe Israel off the map.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's pledge to annex portions of the West Bank on July 1 is also increasing tensions in the region. The Palestinians and their allies say they will never accept the adding of land in Judea and Samaria to Israel and will most likely react violently to such an annexation.

The Gog-Magog War described in Ezekiel 38-39 seems closer than ever. The nations remain aligned precisely as we read in Ezekiel 38:1-13. It's also interesting that Israeli Rabbis believe the war of Ezekiel 38-39 could begin at any moment. Even though President Trump got several of these nations to sit down and come to some sort of accord, they are still just one tiny spark from the conflagration of all out war.

This world has seen Apostasy before, where the power of God was removed and false doctrine was taught. It is Paul's warning in both 1 and 2 Timothy, where he describes a great apostasy in the church during the last days. This day has arrived. The widespread acceptance by so many churches of what the Bible labels as sin is just the tip of the iceberg. Just as the apostle predicted in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, people today flock to false teachers in great numbers. In some cases, these so-called pastors have become multi-millionaires as a result of their perversion of the Gospel.

It's far more popular for preachers today to regard vast sections of scriptural prophecy as allegory and proclaim a false, anti-biblical hope to their congregations, one that denies the imminent return of Jesus. One that teaches wrong is right, tolerance in all things including sin. Deliberate misquotations and interpretations of scripture. Take a quick tour to the tele-evangelist channels on TV. I can guarantee at least one of them is begging for your money. How many more lights do they need? How many new cameras? new sets? The list goes on. Try asking them how much of your donation goes to the needy, the poor, the beaten, THE PEOPLE JESUS talked about on the mount?

The heretical teaching that the church will thrive through the tribulation and bring in the millennial kingdom itself as it's congregation will be bigger, stronger and more righteous afterward It's by far the most seductive view of the end-times in churches today. Which is why that false doctrine has attracted millions of Christians during the past few decades. Another indicator of the great apostasy that exists in our time. People are being led astray by these lies, couched in scripture.

CHAZ, Portland, Minneapolis, Seattle. Riots have spread to many other cities. How can anyone look at this and not see it as a perfect example of the lawlessness that Jesus said would appear during the tribulation? In Matthew 24:12. Jesus said this about the signs of the end of the age, "And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold." We have politicians who blatantly break laws that would imprison any one of us for years. Some of these politicians go so far as to brag about their exploits.

Paul refers to the antichrist as the "the man of lawlessness" in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. Right now we see the spirit of the antichrist surging throughout the United States as the anarchists destroy property and ruin the lives of thousands of people. All with the tacit approval of local government leadership.

Famine was the hardest of signs to wrap my head around. Mostly because as I was growing up, there were always starving children in Africa who would be more than happy with the meals my mom served... including the OD green peas and pickled beats, that I eagerly offered to mail out to them. I always thought my mother used the starving children in Africa to guilt me into eating those vile things. A more serious look at Revelations 6:8, which tells us of the rider on a pale horse who is given the authority over a fourth of the earth to kill with a sword and with famine and pestilence. So. We can look forward to Deadly famines. It was the hardest of signs to verify, right up until I read a story in National Geographic published May 2020. Swarms of gigantic locusts are in East Africa and causing a famine. Over 20 Million people in the world, already suffer from food scarcity. India also reports the presence of large swarms of locusts.

In closing, we have seen the signs of tribulation: Persecution of Christians and Jews, Middle East Tension, The New World Order, Mark of the Beast, Lawlessness, Violence, Inflation, Surrendering Rights, Famine, Apostasy. Undeniably, they are here. They can't be ignored and rather than becoming that guy on the street corner, wearing a sandwitch board stating "The End is Nigh", I will leave it to you to continue to spread the word.

Well Let me know what you think.

Very insightful and well thought out.
As a Believer I know that the Tribulation will eventually happen and the Second Coming of Christ WILL happen.
To me the must obvious sign of this is the Abraham Accord....the peace agreements between Israel and other middle east countries.
Violence is rampant across the globe with most of it religious in nature, evil versus good.
For a long long time I struggled with trying to fathom how some in our Country could be so against anything good, and I do mean anything. The differences aren't in the grey zone at all... black and white....night and day. With all my heart I believe its demonic. But this isn't just happening here.
All of this is just the beginning. A small taste of what is to come.

I will set my phone to record the audio. Truth be told, I am hoping to make it out of there with my skin, a recording would be asking too much. We will see.

Itís ok. I feel as though this is a sermon that I would have heard in my old church. Feelings didnít matter there, to an extent. What mattered was preaching the word and the truth. If you had a problem with it then you are the one with the problem, not what was being preached. Some people donít like hearing things like this, but in the church community we as Christians need to wake up to what is going on around us. If some people find that harsh then maybe this sermon will be that seed that they need to help open their eyes.

Donít be scared to preach the truth and what the word says. Stay strong in your faith. Youíve got this brother!!!

Very well thought out and written. I have been reading more lately, and beginning to wonder if we are not the "Mystery Babylon" spoken of.

Very good sermon Crazy. Much like I heard preached when I was younger. Its a lot more rare to hear that taught these does. And yeah some folks won't like hearing it. That doesn't matter, THEY NEED TO HEAR IT. People need to hear this and the current comparisons should be more than enough to open peoples ears that it will resonate with.

I do believe the Tribulation is close, although nobody knows the day or time. The parable of the fig tree and that being the last generation.......... the question is how long is a generation ? People lived a long time in Bible days.

The key is to be saved. Then the time doesn't matter does it ?

The way it should be done, CU. Today a "watered down religion is the "in" thing. Can't hurt anyone's feelings. Having a large attendance is more important than preaching the truth, unfettered, undiluted. Bur many are gong to get their feelings hurt one day like they've NEVER had. "Its a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God". Hebrews 10:31.
