I read the online manual and it didn't work for me. Can't program seven digit freq's and it appears that I don't have the same buttons on my Baofeng as they do. Will try again later.

I think that I’m going with a GMRS set up for now . Later on I’m going to have a Baofeng UV5R . I will use it more or less like a scanner . So I can monitor what is going on out side my area .
The GMRS set will be used for my group communication.
