Default Iran shot down that plane accidentally?

    sure looks like it:

    some points:
plane was @ altitude of 2240 meters, climbing and traveling at 513 kph when the ADB messages suddenly stopped
no mayday from crew or any passengers
debris field scattered over wide area
Iran refusing to turn over the black boxes

    what a bunch of idiots
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Purely from the perspective of making a risk assessment for operations to Tehran, and Iran in general, however, we would recommend the starting assumption to be that this was a shootdown event, similar to MH17 – until there is clear evidence to the contrary.

Images seen by OPSGROUP, shown below, show obvious projectile holes in the fuselage and a wing section. Whether that projectile was an engine part, or a missile fragment is still conjecture, but in making a decision as to whether to operate to Iran, erring on the side of caution would dictate that you do not, until there is clear information as to the cause.

Accident ? Maybe. A lot of "coincidences" occurred that day. 2 Earthquakes near their nuclear facility, a Ukranian jetliner blown out of the sky. Iranian missiles don't kill any Americans. Who was on that plane ? Who of IMPORTANCE was on that plane ? Q said 70% of plane crashes are not accidental. Forgive me but inquiring minds want to know.

For the record from me..........there are no such things as "coincidences" these days..everything that happens has a meaning, whether covert or overt.

What they have come out and said today is Russian anti aircraft missile system. They were waiting for US planes to hit them after the rockets fired at US forces on Iraqi bases. Everyone knew it when it happened that it was an anti aircraft missile. I think Iranians just trigger happy...Is it possible there was someone on the plane that they needed to kill??? Is it possible? Yes. Is it probable??? I think that is the question....

Since this article was first published, the Iranian war crime of recklessly operating an anti-aircraft missile system from a major civilian airport in peacetime, an operation that directly led to the death of 176 innocent civilians, was confirmed by multiple sources including the prime minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. Canada is one of the biggest victims of this crime, as 63 passengers on board the aircraft were Canadian citizens.

Israeli news resources ynet.ca is quoting Newsweek in reporting that senior Pentagon officials are now confirming that a low-altitude, short-range Tor M-1 missile fired by an Iranian battery brought down the Ukrainian airliner on the night of the Iranian missile attack on American bases in Iraq.

This confirms our speculation that a catastrophic crash of an airliner in a saturated AA environment operating at the highest readiness level is highly unlikely to have been an accident. While this news is as yet unconfirmed, Pentagon sources have allegedly claimed that the Tor M-1 missile launch had been verified by satellite data.

The fact that a low-altitude short-range missile seems to be involved lends credibility to the story because such tactical systems, in contrast to more theater-level high-altitude long-range systems, are only loosely plugged into the theater-wide command and control system and possess fewer and less reliable systems for aircraft identification. These short-range systems are designed to be used only in environments in which the probability of civilian aircraft operating in the vicinity is virtually non existent.

If Iran deployed in the vicinity of the Tehran international airport an air defense system that is designed to be deployed exclusively in theaters of combat operations and if indeed the civilian aircraft was brought down by this system, Iran bears direct responsibility for 176 civilian deaths and is guilty of a war crime.

Furthermore, the deployment of such a system reinforces our hypothesis that Iran prepared an AA ambush for American aircraft on the night of the attack, fully expecting American retaliation and hoping to down at least one American asset gaining a massive propaganda victory.

Russian made SA-15 "Gauntlet" missile system allegedly used; the system has both manual and automatic settings. It was supposedly on auto, expecting to see American military aircraft approaching.

    Passenger list. If anyone has the time to research these names, I bet there are a few important people on this list;
