Default My Longest Post To Date

Say what you will about FakeBook, but with over 1000 "friends" I took the time to assemble some facts and opinions about the crisis currently facing our country. If I can open just one or two person's mind to what is happening to our country, I believe the effort is justified. Here's my take on it....

Tonight's Lesson - "Connecting The Dots" (long post)

It’s said that money can’t buy happiness, but if we look around, it’s obvious that money buys influence. Take, for example, the "Open Society Foundation". Sounds innocuous, right ? You’ve probably heard the Soros name associated with progressive political agendas, and according to the Forbes 400, Soros has donated more than $32 billion dollars over the course of his life – nearly 80 percent of his life’s income – to advance progressive causes. The Open Society Foundation – the foundation started and funded entirely by Soros – provides direct funding for more than 200 organizations in the United States alone. And, there are at least 47 Open Society Foundation offices throughout the world, with activity occurring in more than 120 countries.

Trivia Q : Which country has the most Open Society Foundation offices?

If your answer is the United States, you’re wrong. We have only three.

The answer is Ukraine, with five – more than any other country.

What does Soros have going on in Ukraine? Department of State documents uploaded to scribd.com show George Soros, in 2016, meeting with then President Margvelashvili of Georgia and also then-Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman. The documents, which originate from Soros’ Open Society Foundation, also have an interesting name appearing in the “CC” of the email: Eric Ciaramella.

Who is Eric Ciaramelia ? For starters, he was the Director of National Security Council for Obama in the Ukraine. It is widely reported that he is the shadowy "whistleblower" involved in the impeachment proceedings against the President. But I digress.

News about Ukrainian-Soros ties are not new. In a 60-Minute segment that aired 20 years ago, investigative journalist Steve Kroft said, “When we went with Soros to the Ukraine, he was treated like a visiting head of state, and was received by the President. Then he was received by the Prime Minister, and finally the Central Bank. They even allowed him to look at the books and asked him for advice."

While correlation does not equal causation, I find it interesting that www.tradingeconomics.com shows corruption in the Ukraine on a steady increase over the past 20 years. Soros also has supported many left-wing politicians in the United States. Maybe – just maybe – this explains why so many Congressional representatives scurried quickly to start impeachment proceedings when President Trump started investigating what’s going on in Ukraine. Many of them owe their political careers to George Soros’ money, so if Soros said “jump,” you can bet they were asking, “How high?”

While we're at it, let's examine this "star witness" William Taylor. Although it has been scrubbed almost entirely from the web, William Taylor spent several years on the board of a Ukranian Non-Govermental-Organization called EEF, or the East Europe Foundation, which has a strong partnership with Open Cities Association. Open Cities Association is funded by “Open Governments Partnership” which accepts large amounts of funding from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation.

Ambassador Taylor also has strong connections to other dark power players, many of whom are embroiled in the spying scandal currently under investigation by Attorney General William Barr and US Attorney John Durham. Taylor was a senior advisor to the US- Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), where he often presented round table discussions about policy with David Kramer from the McCain Institute. Evidence has shown that David Kramer was responsible for laundering the Steele Dossier into the FBI on behalf of John McCain, as well as providing the dossier to Buzzfeed. Also a key player at the USUBC is the Atlantic Council, a Washington DC based organization funded in part by Victor Pinchuk, a Ukrainian billionaire who has donated to the Clinton Foundation. Crowdstrike co-founder and CTO Dmitri Alperovitch is also a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council. Crowdstrike was responsible for the DNC servers, and claims that it was Russia that hacked the servers and provided the information to Wikileaks. Crowdstrike also held them privately for analysis rather than allow the FBI to forensically analyze them. In the now infamous call with the President Zelensky, President Trump asked him to look for the missing DNC servers suspecting they were in Ukraine. Hmmmm.

If you’re wondering, like me, just how tight Nancy Pelosi is tied to Soros, you don’t have to look very far. According to news reports, in November of 2017 Nancy Pelosi and George Soros shared a stage raising money from liberal donors in California for “shaping political and policy transformation in America.” The conference was titled, “Beyond #Resistance: Reclaiming our Progressive Future.” That event, held at the La Costa Resort just north of San Diego, was hosted by Democracy Alliance, a rather high-brow club of well-to-do Left-wing movers and shakers. Other people involved with the conference included the noted Marxist, Van Jones, then-president of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, and David Brock, founder of Media Matters. It should be noted that Media Matters – which openly states it seeks to monitor only conservative news – is funded by both Democracy Alliance and George Soros.

In March of 2018, the Washingon Times reported that both Nancy Pelosi AND George Soros were funneling money into PACs to try to unseat Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA). A month earlier, Representative Nunes authored the now-famous “Nunes Memo,” which exposed FBI overreach in its surveillance of Americans, most notably people associated with then-candidate Trump’s Presidential campaign.

The timing of Pelosi’s and Soros’ effort just a month after the release of the Nunes Memo should have received more attention in the press, but hey, they’re in Soros’ camp, so, “Nothing to see here.” If you wonder why some people are so anti-Trump, it may help to look at who is receiving money from Soros. Chuck Schumer ? Richard Blumenthal ? Keith Ellison ? Kamala Harris ? Yes to all.

But also on the list you’ll find Republican names like Paul Ryan, John Boehner, Marco Rubio, and John Kasich. Their ties to Soros speak volumes of their credibility. You just know they're lying when their lips are moving.

I’ve watched Soros being interviewed, and he consistently says he wants Trump out of the White House. To accomplish this, Soros took $18 billion dollars of his personal wealth and put it in his Open Society Foundation. From there, he’s funneled money to hundreds of Democratic organizations and Super PACs, trying to flip Senate seats, House seats, and even District Attorney and County Attorney seats. He knows that if he has politicians – AND people whose job it is to interpret and enforce the laws – beholden to him, he can get what he wants.

In the 2018 election, Soros poured a lot of his money into Senate races, knowing the Senate would have the final say after the House voted to impeach Trump – which I personally believe Soros planned all along. Thankfully, not all his efforts at flipping Senate seats succeeded, but that hasn’t stopped his minions from moving forward with their attempt to impeach this President.

That said, know that Soros is unrelenting. Don’t think for a moment he will lay back for the 2020 elections. Soros is now 89 years old, and Trump is standing in the way of Soros getting what he wants.

By the way, to reinforce his plans, Soros also has his son, Alexander, actively involved in “the family business.” His face isn’t as well-known as his father’s, but Alex is being groomed and he’s making the rounds. Perhaps you’ve seen the picture of Nancy Pelosi with a young man, who many say is Eric Ciaramella, the CIA “expert” on Ukraine. The man in the photo with Nancy Pelosi is not Eric Ciaramella; it’s Alexander Soros.

    Pelosi_Soros.jpg

Through his vast wealth and the use of shell organizations, George Soros is actively altering the fabric of our country. After all, money buys influence. And when it comes to influencing Washington DC, I personally think when this impeachment farce is all said and done, you’re going to see George Soros’ tentacles all over it.

Lastly, I would like to echo the words of freelance writer, John Fitzpatrick, who articulates much of my concerns :

"As the rhetoric on impeachment ramps up there are many questions, and also just as many opinions in regards to the facts in the case against the President, and what the desired outcome is. The one thing that appears to be missing from all that has occurred so far? The truth. We, as a nation, have endured three years of investigations, accusations, claims of irrefutable evidence that never materialized, and a constant bombardment of rhetoric and talking points from the legacy media that is unsurpassed in history. Something truly monumental is afoot. One might even say that what is transpiring is of “biblical proportions.” But this shift is not just about impeachment.

Unfortunately, the underlying implications of what is taking place are being camouflaged from the public by a constant bombardment of distraction and deflection. This is something the legacy media have become marvelously adept at. They have historically provided the American public with valid, relatively unbiased information that people could then consider and apply, using it to form the basis of their opinions, and the evolution of their ideologies. However, the transformation of legacy media from journalism to activism has occurred subtly, yet completely over the past several years. Many Americans who grew up hearing the news from people such as Walter Cronkite, David Brinkley, Charles Kuralt and others, believed that they were being given information that adhered to a standard of journalistic integrity. They trusted those people, and they had little reason not to. That has changed.

This point was recently driven home for me while I was visiting my father in my small hometown in northern Maine. He is 80 years old. He was an entrepreneur who ran his own business and he worked incredibly hard to provide for his family. He retired as a general manager from the Coca-Cola Company. He taught me work ethic, integrity, leadership, manhood, and how to treat people. He is also a “Kennedy Democrat”. We talked about how the ideals of today’s Democratic Party do not even remotely represent his ideals, but that he doesn’t really connect with ardent Trump Republicans either.

As we were talking, Adam Schiff came on the television. We were watching CNN. Schiff was giving his now infamous speech to the House Intelligence Committee on the whistleblower letter regarding the President’s phone call to the Ukraine. I had already read the transcript. As Schiff proceeded through his speech, I could not believe what I was hearing. My father commented about how inappropriate it was and how damaging it was to the President. I explained that what Schiff was saying is not what was actually said on the call. I explained that Schiff was flat out lying or talking about something that I must have missed.

It was difficult for my father to believe that an elected official would blatantly lie like that on national television. Five or ten years ago, I would have agreed with him. What struck me about this was that there are millions of Americans out there like my father who still have some faith in the assumption that our elected officials have the best interests of the people at heart, and that there is integrity in the legacy media. He uses the internet and has a smart phone, but he is not likely to download and read the call transcript. He is more likely to take the word of an elected Representative and a news anchor. And that should be the reality. My father is far from naïve. He is one of the wisest men I know. His gives people the benefit of the doubt as do most in his generation, until they give him a reason not to. But how could he know?

Adam Schiff is not stupid. He is far from it, which makes his actions all the more egregious. He knew exactly what he was doing by presenting things the way he did and then later, and only after being accused of lying, did he claim it was a parody. There was nothing humorous about it. He lied to the American people with the intent to deceive and to generate an emotional and visceral response from his “base”. A base that (much of which) he is miles apart from ideologically. The legacy media was all too willing to keep the propaganda machine churning and push it out there like it was baseball on the 4th of July. The talking points that the legacy media spew daily are well coordinated and consistent. The left and the legacy media are one, and are bent on destroying Donald Trump at all costs. What is happening is the genesis of a transformation in America that the left has been pushing for many years. It is insidious, it is divisive, and it is dangerous.

However, it is not the most dangerous enemy that we face as a nation. That enemy is complacency. The kind of complacency that makes us believe we can continue to feed the fires of hatred and division within our own country without dire consequences. It is the kind of complacency that takes for granted what it took for America to become the greatest nation on earth, and what is still required of brave men and women today to keep her intact. It is the kind of complacency that takes politicians and the legacy media at their word, and drinks up their lies like water in the desert. And, it is the kind of complacency that assumes that someone else will deal with these problems and that we as individuals can’t really do anything about it.

There is a huge fissure across this country between good people who want what they believe is best for our collective future. What is the motivation behind the division? How did we get to this point of divergence? What are we as individuals willing to do about it? Are we even willing to seek the truth?

We, as a nation, are bigger than our politicians. We are not defined by the chaos and drama that is Washington today, yet it drives the divide. We have allowed social media and legacy media to become our informer. The truth is readily available to us all if we want to take the time to go find it and see it for ourselves, but most prefer to sit with the iPhone in one hand and the remote in the other, and let these other politically driven sources give us our opinions. We ravenously consume anything that confirms us and venomously reject that which does not, regardless of the source or validity. We have become intellectually lazy. It is just easier to hate and mock those that we disagree with, the truth be damned. We succumb to confirmation bias. We act as if we have the only truth, when in fact it is nothing more than a borrowed narrative from one outlet or another. The politicians and the pundits are all too happy to provide us with our opinions and inject their version of “truth” into our personal ideologies and feed the inferno of hate.

We’re all susceptible. It is easy to get sucked in, and it takes significant effort to overcome. In this age of moral relativity, it is just too simple and too convenient to mold the “truth” to our lives and our views, or create our own “truth” rather than to mold our lives to the truth. The truth is not relative. It is not elusive, but it is not always what we want it to be, and it doesn’t always make us feel the way we want it to. It is never a good idea to put all of our trust in other men. We all have the same fatal flaws. If you diligently and sincerely seek the truth, you will find it. You may not like it, but you will know it is the truth.

There is an enemy among us that is desperate to hide this from us, but the truth will not be suppressed. As it rises, those that fear it are being exposed in their desperation. As I have observed the left attempt to destroy one person after another, from Kavanaugh, to Trump and everyone in between, one thing has become clear. Character assassination is the desperate tactic of people who have none.

Our national motto is still “In God We Trust”. Look at any denomination of currency that you have in your pocket. If you are trusting in anything else, check your motive. Pride is not our friend. We are either feeding the fire of hatred, sowing the seeds of love, or are just along for the ride and letting simple cause and effect determine our outcomes. We all need to take a step away from our smart phones and laptops and take a long, hard look in the mirror and figure it out, because there are those in the world who think they already have it all figured out for us, and they will stop at nothing to execute their plan."

Due diligence is your friend. I love my country, but I fear my government.

CP, this is the most profound, resounding truth I have read or heard in a long, long, long time. This is the thing that will bust the gates of hell wide open, and I don't think its too far in the future if things continues in the direction they're going. I fear that day. But in reality, this is a close parallel to the description of the end of time in the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, the 24th chapter of Matthew and in Revelation. I won't say anymore...for now. OPSEC and INFOSEC tells me its wise to keep one's mouth shut about certain things.

Watch this, and it will all make sense. 2 hrs long, and Glenn has all the documents to back it up. In the end, you will understand why Schiff doesn't want the "whistleblower" on the stand.

Great exposition, every point well and clearly stated. It is sad to me that in our modern world 90% of a randomly selected audience would not make it past the 1st paragraph for TLDR micro-attention-span reasons, and 75% wouldn't make it much further than that if read to them by a stand-up comic who juggled the whole time for lack of comprehension (being able to follow and assimilate what is being said). Their eyes glass over and they tune out, plain and simple if it isn't amusing/entertain8ng enough and this is what frightens me most about the voting public with regard to the future of this country.

Bruss, most of the voting public, those in the heavily populated areas anyway....you know the ones I'm talking about, are scared stiff to face reality, responsibility is a foreign word to them, believe someone else is supposed to take care of them, and a host of other negatives. In short, they're a total waste of good oxygen. And, yeah, it is, indeed, frightening to think they are allowed to take a part in choosing people for decision making positions. Its a large part of the reason that what little hair I have left is grey.

Very well researched and written CP. Each point explained and references given in many cases. But I'll bet no more than a small handful of the folks that read it on Social Media will take the time to look deeper into even one point that you gave.

Personally I really like it and want to see this get out in many areas, in whole or in part.

Completely agree. At least wouldn't take the time and give the effort to try and understand it.
