Default Howdy from the SE US!

Hello from the SE. I am retired Army, 20 yrs, took a half-pension. Thanks to very astute grandparents and a lot of luck, I have ended up in what I consider to be almost the ideal "survival position" if the SHTF. That there will be an SHTF event I have no doubt...just a question of "when." I am the "loner" type, and perfectly happy where I am and with the lifestyle I have chosen. I will find the appropriate thread and say more about this there. Always open for suggestions...may well be some things I have missed.
