    Default shooting glasses

like the most of us old farts, my eyes aren't what they used to be.
I use reading glasses for reading and close work.

I am about to purchase some ballistic shooting glasses (required for a rifleman class I am about to take)

    Do I need bi focals?
or can just standard lenses do?

You don't want to deal with bifocal glasses when shooting. Just get you some standard safety glasses. Most courses and ranges allow you to wear your perscription glasses or sunglasses.

i would check with the class your about to take as to see if they allow you to just wear prescription glasses. i have never been to a range where it wasnt ok.
