    Default Cordage from Recyclable Waste

Even Tom Hanks marooned on his remote island alone with "Wilson" probably had more than a few 2 liter bottles wash up during the 5 years he was there. He was never short on a need for tying things up (or down), it's a pretty universal human need. And I'm sure he grew weary of weaving vines and palm fibers into rope & cordage.

I found this gizmo to be fascinating. It turns 2 liter bottles (any plastic bottle just about) into strong cordage/fiber/rope to be used for just about any purpose you could imagine. And it's FAST and so easy.

Gotta get me one of those, but now there will be a shortage of silencers all over the country.

Also the "cord" made from those bottles can be heated once tied or wrapped on something and it will shrink making the joint very tight.

It would be very easy to make a similar cutter for almost no money.

Damnit! You made me buy one of these! I'm a gadget ho! Hehehe!

I used to do this with wire when I was sculpting art pieces but, check this out on making rope From plastic bottles. Whoda thunk it!
