    Default Kommieformia again

these people have no common sense at all.
    unintended consequences galore

    so let me see -
first limit the rate of return on capital - ok I will stop capital investment
next I will require you to sell at rates that limit profitability - ok, no cash flow for more sytem maintenance & improvement
then I will make you limitlessly liable for things out of your control - ok, here comes Chapter 11
just like the last time you idiots regulated us into bankruptcy - how'd that work out for you?

Pacific Gas & Electric filed for “Chapter 22” as California’s largest utility was again forced into Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to the state’s social justice regulatory structure.

Facing $300 million a month in unreimbursed power costs under California’s 1996 “deregulation” law that gave the state control of wholesale electric power purchases, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in April 2001 in San Francisco court, listing $9 billion in debt.

The three-year reorganization cost the state between $40 to $45 billion and was directly responsible for the recall of California Democrat Gov. Gray Davis on October 7, 2003.

The latest filling is due to California utilities being subject to CPUC strict return of capital limitations on the rates they are allowed to charge customers, while having unlimited financial liability since the 1999 California Court of Appeal's opinion in Barham v. S. Cal. Edison Co. established “inverse condemnation” for any weather-driven power line sparking risk causing a wildfire, despite lack of any negligence by the utility or its staff.

As a result, PG&E has strict and unlimited liability for dry vegetation setbacks along its 18,466 circuit miles of interconnected electric transmission lines, 6,438 miles of transmission pipelines, and 42,141 miles of natural gas distribution pipelines.

Despite PG&E’s limited profit capability already facing $20 billion in potential wildfire liability, Gov. Jerry Brown signed Senate Bill 100 in September 2018 mandating California utilities convert the remaining 75 percent of fossil fuel electrical generation to renewable sources by 2045. The move could result in up to a doubling of residential utility rates.

The government allegedly took over the infamous Mustang Ranch in Nevada (legalized brothel) for tax evasion. Though some parts of the story are in dispute, it's said that even with drinking, gambling and *ahem* other services they STILL ran the place into the ground.

There's massive vote fraud here that accounts for the situation we have. People from out of state frequently blame Californians for the situation but that's not entirely fair, saying if we wanted change we'd vote for it. We do... it's just that there's more than enough vote fraud to seemingly always push us that crucial few percent over the minority line. Here's hoping the traitors go to jail and this gets fixed in time for 2020.
In a crazy world, it's the crazy man who can get by - and it's about to get cray-cray up in here.

Here's the REAL help we've been thirsting for!!!

Graham: We’re Getting Trump’s Ninth Circuit Nominees Confirmed
    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiep...irmed-n2540575

Yesterday President Trump nominated three judges, Daniel Bress, Daniel Collins and Kenneth Kiyul to serve on the infamously leftist Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

On Thursday, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham backed the President's nominees and vowed to get them confirmed.

“I’m very supportive of the nominees submitted by President Trump to serve on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. These are highly qualified nominees and I am hopeful they will receive wide bipartisan support,” Graham said in a statement. “These nominations continue a trend by the Trump Administration of selecting highly qualified men and women to serve on the federal bench.”
The 9th has given a free pass to wanton constitutional violations here, one after another. It's a huge arm of the Deep State. Hopefully now we can reign in some of the most egregious abuses.

Yup, there's a reason that the Ninth is the most overturned in the country.

and now P,G&E responds to massive liability & lawsuits like you would expect them to:
"If you make us liable for starting fires we can fix that easily - just turn off the juice"
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
State fire authorities blamed PG&E's equipment for starting 17 major wildfires in the last two years. The San Francisco-based utility is facing more than 1,000 wildfire-related lawsuits. The utility filed for bankruptcy last month, saying the lawsuits could cost more than $30 billion.

Pacific Gas & Electric submitted a $2.3 billion safety proposal Wednesday that, if approved by regulators, could include cutting power to up to 5 million Californians when fire danger is high.

In the filing submitted to the California Public Utilities Commission, PG&E is seeking the ability to cut power to any of the 5.4 million customers in its system should the wildfire threat become critical in northern and central parts of the state.
