How about 1 year, 11 months, 22 days and 20 hours, almost to the second? Had a short-timers calendar from 465 days, but it was flexible 'cause I didn't know if I'd get a 30 day drop or not. Ended up bein' not. Still was happy with only the 7 day drop they gave me. Got out at OAB on 10/17/69 and drove home in my own car. Took all of about 15 minutes. BTW, 10/16/69 was the last day I shaved. Damn, think of all the money I've saved on barbers, blades and such!

Nah, it gets trimmed a couple of times a year, whether it needs it or not. When the wind splits it and I can see it in the mirrors, blowin' over my shoulders I know it's gettin' a bit long. Mama don't like it when the whiskers start blowin' back in her face when she's on the bitch seat.
Wonder what ol' Sgt. Reynolds, one of my Drill Instructors from Ft. Lewis would say.
Anyway, we appreciate all who've served.
