    Yeah..I do this too..in addition to putting all my batteries on the chargers...including all my HT's as well as my spare car and marine batteries. Lower my telescoping mast as well.

    Looks like the storm is going to just hang around for a few days. That likely means it will dump A LOT of rain in the area.

    It's just been upgraded to a cat 3 with sustained winds of 120 mph, and still 80 miles off shore. Woof!
