Depends on how many times they had to bend over for the progressive liberal socialists behind closed doors.

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Probably, but not for the lack of trying... For the third time is it?

Something like that....I don't follow this subject much as I'm exempt....I get all my healthcare from VA, so I don't know what's best for the average American....but there seem to be very vocal opinions on both sides.

You guys should just be happy you're not in the VA system lol

But here is my concern, if this bill (in it's current form) isn't going to pass the Senate, then this might backfire on the GOP

There are people who like Obamacare, these people vote, and now any republican who voted for this will have a target on their back......and they didn't gain anything if this bill gets defeated in the senate anyway, they seem to be falling on their sword for no reason if this fails.

Why not bang out a real bill that had support in both the House and Senate?

I can imagine. Especially right now but hopefully it will get better for you soon.
We aren't in the OC PROGRAM either. We are on a shared Texas insurance. Our premiums are very low 160 a month (FOR BOTH OF US TOGETHER)and so is our deductible 1000.00 annual.. 20.00 ea co pay for Dr and 100.00 ea co pay for ER. We are covered for everything but hearing. Can't hardly beat that and we have the same Dr we've had for 25 years.

Because even if we kept it the way it is now, it would still get voted down in the Senate because of the label. Anything the Repubs put out there is apt to get voted down simply because it's not a dem platform.

You know the reason why. They aren't going to do anything meaningful. I'm Washington there really is no difference between the Ds and Rs, with VERY few exceptions. If they did something meaningful then that means less $$$$ for them and more work.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best
