Thread: Warning from RBS: Get out of the Market!

About 7 years ago we decided to liquidate and go small, uneventful and unnoticed. We had a lot of small realestate and tracks of property. Sold it all. We sold off both oil royalties we had too. If feels good to not be tied to the system.
What we have is what we are sitting on. I like it. We are practically non-existant in the vastness.

    @ Texan and Winni,
You can withdraw regular amounts from the bank.

Start by getting a check cashing card attached to your checking account. Go to the local Indian reservation/gambling casino and take out $200-$300 a week in chips, have dinner with your wife and exchange the chips for cash, when you leave. Increase the amounts rapidly, until it gets to $4,000 - $5,000. The federales will write you off as yet another guy with a gambling problem, while you are buying gold and silver.

I figure the Dollar and the stock market is going to take a hit shortly after this election. I think gold prices have been artificially depressed for a while, for what reason I haven't figured out. The US and a few other countries in the G7 have been selling large quantities of gold, but I haven't seen any indicators of who is buying it up.

Generally, when large quantities of PM's are moving around, it is a prelude to a shift in wealth, we hear about them as "market corrections".

China and Russia have been buying up gold for a few years now. And yes there will be a drastic shift.

I wouldn't have an issue with telling my bank to have $100,000 in cash ready for me on a given day. (If I had those kind of resources) I don't care what agency watches it.
My point was that once you have all that cash, what do you do with it. Keeping your wealth in cash/currency is not wise and there are not lots of good options out there for those with large portfolios to find a place for.

Personally, I don't think anyone withdrawing $300 a week at a casino so he can work up to keeping $5k at his house is being watched by anyone. No LE at any level gives a crap about that.
