    Default Texas Blizzard

Sounds like you guys down there are going to get hammered:

    * WINDS AND VISIBILITY...NORTHERLY WINDS OF 30 TO 45 MPH WITH
GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH. VISIBILITY FROM FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW WILL
    LIKELY BE ZERO AT TIMES.

    * SNOW TOTALS...WIDESPREAD AMOUNTS OF 6 TO 14 INCHES ON THE
CAPROCK...WITH 4 TO 10 INCHES IN THE ROLLING PLAINS. SOME
AREAS COULD SEE MUCH HIGHER AMOUNTS. SNOW DRIFTS UP TO 10 FEET
    ARE POSSIBLE.

    * ICE ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO A QUARTER INCH OF SLEET AND ICE ARE
POSSIBLE ACROSS THE EASTERN SOUTH PLAINS INTO THE ROLLING
    PLAINS.

    * COLDEST WIND CHILLS...FROM -5 TO 10 ABOVE ZERO.
Meanwhile, here in the northern midwest...

So what are you guys down there doing prep-wise today? What's already in place? Know this isn't exactly rare for you guys, but not like your utilities and road crews are designed to handle it as well as up north either. Oh, and anyone googling "what is a snowmobile?" or "is there a shovel made just for snow?"
Everything marked, everything 'membered. You wait, you'll see.

We're just watching the fatality reports from the tornado outbreak we had here last night. 3 counties west: winter storm warning, our county: tornados. Stupid global warming. Lol

Who dreamed up naming winter storms? Idiots. Probably sensationalizing extreme weather for the agenda. I may be looking at this global warming thing all wrong. Sure it will stifle industry, but can we invest in carbon credits?

Prayers for those in E Dallas area affected.

I just drove a big rig tanker from Colorado through Oklahoma Panhandle to Amarillo, Texas. Just missed the blizzard, but it's heavy rains and high winds from Amarillo to Dallas/Fort Worth and wrecks everywhere! Multiple cars going off the freeways and I45 blocked in both directions south of Corsican and north of Huntsville.

And it's cold, dang global warming...
