    LOL
Very inviting Alaska... But alas, too cold for me too... I do plan on getting my arse up there to live through the winter at least once so I can say I did it.

That also looks lower than 500' too

STOP Alaska, you are killing me.

I can't go North until I retire, and I have a while to go yet. I have looked at land for sale there and have been very tempted to buy some sight unseen, I know that's way crazy, but that place is calling to me.
I got Vision, and the rest of the world wears bifocals.

Great Pics. The cold and snow are a good thing. Keeps out the rif-raff.

I would sorta 'love' to move to Alaska.
Don't know that I could make through the winter in place that I would want to move to.

Growing up in the desert as child, just did something to my body thermometer...

When I had thought about moving there found a place that the ad stated you needed a 4x4 and/or snowmobile to get to it.
Already had an off-grid cabin on it.

I know this is an old post, but......

Think i'll ride my motorcycle to Deadhorse next year.

Do ride that motorcycle to alaska. I have ridden bikes up there multiple times. Deadhorse isn't too relevant to much except expensive place to sleep and bears. Go thru dawson city and zip up to Inuvik which is north of the arctic circle in canada where the sun doesn't set for 51 days during the summer. Then do top of the world highway and into fairbanks and the rest of alaska. Check out how much stuff gets imported to alaska just to exist right now.
