Thumbs up South Ridge Arms Firearm Refinishing Service

So I recently sent away 2 of my handguns to Dave over at South Ride Arms (Our newest advertiser by the way ). I had a Sig P6 which was in dire need of new finish, as well as my Springfield XD Service which had the notorious "Slide freckling" which was beginning. I wanted to give them both a new lease on life, so I boxed them up and sent them on over.

    And the results...

They were both done in Gunkote. The Springfield XD slide was done in a "brushed stainless" with a clear coat, and the sig was down in a two-tone color scheme of matte black and titanium. I must say, I was extremely impressed with the results. They easily rival, if not hands down beat the factory finishes. The attention to detail Dave exhibited really payed off! So use South Ridge Arms with confidence! SRA is a FFL licensed repair/gunsmith, so mailing your firearms to and fro' is quick and painless.

    Prep on!

Unfortunately I do not. The sigs finish was pretty beat, the XD wasn't that old but they are known for rusting problems. I wanted to get it nipped in the bud before it because a big problem.
