I came across this beauty earlier in the year. The custom work will cost you and it requires a tax stamp, but, dang, that's got to be a handy rifle. Alas, I've got too many other far too practical prepping projects to finance now to consider it, but figured I'd pass it along for grins.

I personally think that the magazine capacity on the does not constitute it being worth carrying. I personally have been looking at one of the Chiappa Alaska(n?) rifles. Takedown at the action, full chrome to weatherproof it, enlarged lever, scout mount, the full nine yards.

It appears that Taylor's and Chiappa have a version, and I know that somebody is coming out with one in my favorite .45!

I hadn't heard for the Chiappa Alaskan before, but that does look like one slick rifle. The 16"-barrel version looks particularly handy.
