I think it important to note that a solar flare and a CME (coronal mass ejection) are 2 very different things and you should not use the terms interchangeably.

Very good point. Easy to fall into since they happen together so regularly.

Well, that sun spot just belched another strong flare.

Departing sunspot AR2673 erupted again on Sept.10th (1606 UT), producing a major X8-class solar flare. A moderately strong solar radiation storm is underway as protons accelerated by the blast swarm around our planet. Shortwave radio blackouts over the Americas and around Earth's poles have also been observed in the aftermath of the explosion.

It is too early to tell how strong the associated CME is.

Pigeons are of the dove family. People just consider them nasty because they are flying garbage disposals.

The national recipe of Texas is Dove breast folded around a jalapeño, and then wrapped in bacon, cooked over Mesquite. Probably one of the most expensive free meat you will ever eat.

    One hunting license-$65
    Shotgun-$300 on the cheap side
    Half a case of shells-$30
    Case of beer-$30
    Limit- 15 birds.
