Thread: Another Tropical depression out in the Gulf.

Default Another Tropical depression out in the Gulf.

This one, they say is fast moving but carries a lot of rain. Just a heads up for Texans and Cajuns to keep a watchful eye.

Great. I pray it does not hit Texas. Gas stations around here are running out of gas due to the refineries being shut down. The longer they are shut down, the less fuel we have at the pumps.

The Gov warned that this price gouging will carry a fine of up to $250,000.00. They advise people to save your receipt and report offenders. Abbott says we fully intend to prosecute these price gougers praying on customers.

Yes. I have a source from the Conroe area (north of Houston) who went to get a few things at a local Randall's store. He didn't need anything, but just wanted to pick up some more things, just in case. They were charging $20 a case, and sheeple were paying it.

On Saturday a local gas station jacked their prices up, a lot! By that evening they were back down to $2.01 a gallon which is about normal.

I guess somone got reminded about the state going after price gougers.

Sounds like I need to fill up my truck with cases of water and cup-o-soups and head south. Best I figure 50$ cs of water and 5$ cup-o-soup!

Realistically,$20/case is really not that far off. I bought a single bottle of Ozarka last week at a truck stop for over $1.00/bottle. I get home service and get 5 gallon bottles and 5 cases of I think 20 oz bottle for much cheaper.
