While I've been mostly focused on the weather portion of Outernet APRS seems to be a growing part of Outernet

Bob Bruninga, the guy who invented APRS, is now on outernet and is a driving force for APRS deployment on Outernet

He goes over how APRS is being implemented on Outernet much better than I could

It's a good read if you want to get into Global APRS via satellite

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Buringa is the father of APRS. If he is going all out for this, it is certainly legit.
    Great post.

I see about 5-6 dB where I am at. A little disappointed in the power supply life.

5 to 6 dB should be good, I've read anything above 3 dB is all you need.

Whats wrong with your power supply?
