Default Charlotte. Stuck in Traffic. Angry mob coming. What do you do?

Not fiction. 911 calls reveal the panic of people stuck in traffic as the mob approaches and begins looting and attacking vehicles.

    What do you do?

Hummmm, only thing I can think of is start carrying around some flash bombs or tear gas and a mask to use in that kind of a trapped scenario. Might give you time to escape.

Hmmmm.... Carry a 'BLM' Sign/tee shirt folded in your vehicle... Jump out of car and unfurl your new found view point and walk away from your car....

In my old truck, I would ease off on to the shoulder, put it in 4 wheel high, and floor it letting the ranch hand bumper do the rest.

Right now though I have a small 4 door car and my skin color means I would probably be attacked. So anytime that I am on a highway, I try to stay in an outside lane so I always have a way out of the need arises. If that doesn't work than I have 2 options. Option 1 is to turn on my urban camo (big thumpin subwoofer) and play something they know while keeping my hand on my sidearm should things go south. Option 2 is to put my sidearm in my lap with my hand on it with it locked and loaded. Make no eye contact with the natives, but if the need arises, I would be ready to double tap.

In Charlotte there is usually pretty thick woodland on either side of the main roads. I considered jumping out and heading into the trees and watching from a distance as a pretty good option.

Not sure how well this would work in a more urban environment or an area with less cover.

This scenario really is something serious to consider. I don't live or travel high populated areas so I never gave it much thought. Even where hubs works, it's all country road driving back and forth.

I wish that was the case for me. I can take 30 steps out our front door and will be standing in the middle of I-35. The 10k gallons of fuel stored in above ground tanks make this location a prime target for rioters or terrorists.
