Go baby go, Daddy needs a new pair of shoes!!!

The US dollar index was pretty weak (in the low/mid seventies) when gold peaked at $1,800 or so. Interesting to see gold making a comeback with the USD in the mid-90's now. Deflation?

    Isn't that the truth!!

As far as accelerating acquiring prep related items, I think as long as one doesn't take on debt in order to facilitate, then have at it.

I know I'm waiting until my tax refund comes in before buying anything, then it's basically just staples (rice, TP, ammo, etc).

Deflation, interestingly I have noticed that Emergency Essentials has been having some pretty incredible sales for going on two months now. I would have bought in on it except that I am trying to be disciplined AND as a result have noticed the great sales have been continuing.

First time I have seen in about a year+, where the classic market goes down and gold goes up. Meaning, people are really seeing the dollar for what it is, propped up.... use your own best judgement. Now is the time, where the confusion of the imagined value of the dollar can be "leveraged" (hate the term) against what the perception of the dollars value vs gold/silver. The next few hours will define your position. I assume no liablilty, use you own good sense.

All the more reason to stockpile snacks, a social collapse will suck, no more Chocolate Chip cookies will suck even more.

I am certainly able to bake cookies (even in the solar oven) but potato chips are out along with granola bars.
