    for a tool kit, yeah. for anything i'd every have to actually carry around...heck no. those things are heeeeeavy. I didn't even like using one as a rifle case. they way overbuilt for everything except perhaps shipping sensitive equipment where you know the airline folks or UPS drivers will be throwing them around.

    I've used that bag(right handed option) for about 5 years as my EDC... Tried others but always came back to that model...
    leave the gun... take the cannoli...

    I picked up a very nice large bag that is perfect for me. Has several smaller pouches to sort things out by need for fast access.

    Still using my specop brand assault pack. Oldie but goodie.

    Well pleased at the service life out of this pack. Made in America, could send it back to get the strap fixed but haven't yet.

    Looking at their, the UAP pack they have in multicam. $200 for a bag seems like a lot to many, my first was just over a 100 few years ago but has held up to 2years of war and everything society has thrown at it so don't mind paying for reliability.
