We could have used the quik-clot sponge yesterday when the neighbor smashed a log on DH's hand with the log splitter. Flat. Splat. Oooze. We'll find out tomorrow if the finger has to be removed. It's been a longer 24 hours.

ZH - I've already figured out how to spend more than one paycheck on that darn site!! Seriously - appreciate the link, I'd seen it somewhere recently, thought it was here. One of the things they have in the medical secion was *exactly* what FleckChick and I were discussing wishing we could find, just a couple of weeks ago as we were working on first-line 1st aid kits.

Nice to see they offer a discount for Boy/Girl Scout orders, since Spartan and FleckChick are Scouts! (2nd Class Scout and Brownie, respectively) They are seriously liking some of those smaller survival kits.
