After being a driving instructor in the military and biker by heart, I can't help but to be prepared on the road.
I keep a Bob in/on both of my vehicles. As for my truck I keep a cross box full of supplies: jack, oil change kit, spare plugs, jumper cables, tow rope, 2 gal. of 50/50 mix, a spare fan belt & radiator hoses, spare fuses and H3 & 1157 bulbs, inline fuel filter, fix a flat, first-aid kit And a med tool box.
As for my bike I keep a tool bag full of supplies: spare plugs & wires, spare fuses and H3 & 1157 bulbs, tire patch kit, top-end gasket kit, master link & chain breaker, tie down straps, and the good old stand by Duck tape & bailing wire, min-mag & tools.
So far, over of all my trips I've never had to be towed in from a break down on the road.
