If someone could follow the link and explain to me what and where they are talking about. It sounds to me that they are talking about in the USA but I'm not sure if I missed something or what!

Seems that they mean places like Africa, maybe places like palestine, etc. Although I can see them occupying a US city because of the "lawlessness" breeding in it's inner city areas, or even a small town because of the people who are "clinging to guns and religion" Could go either way with the things they've pulled lately.

Watch the "state dinner" scene aboard the Enterprise in Star Trek VI - the Undiscovered Country sometime, as two cultures raised in warfare try to "play nice" with one another. That whole film is an excellent example, of what happens, when you try to put the military in charge of diplomacy - neither military VICTORY nor diplomacy occur! :eek:
