Embedding Youtube Into Your Post

Have you thought about getting the ad on for Vbulletin that allows you to embed a Youtube or Google video directly into your post?

Not really as nobody asked for it before. Personally I'd rather have a link that I click if I want to look than a player where the start picture is often black. But as usual the members will decide.

Aint that the truth? *snicker* :D If enough members want it, I have no problem with it as long as its not too much of a PITA for Legio to install..Is this a freeware thing?

And yes, its free. There are also a number of XML files you can import - http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=175378

All a member has to do it post a link and the site will auto-embed the video for you. Its as simple as simple an get. Embedding does not require anything on the part of the end user. Besides youtube, once a lot of those xml files are installed, you should support a dozen or more video hosting sites.

That is the same exact modification I use on my forum. But I am using the older version for vbulletin 3.6. Its one of those things, I have not taken the time to upgrade yet.
