Green Light

What's the purpose of that green light some people have in their thread replies that says "__ is on a distinguished road" when you put your mouse cursor over it?

If you look above it you will see a button saying "rep". If you like a persons post , or dislike it, you can select that button to add or detract from their reputation here. I've heard it described as being akin to a +1/-1 system on some other boards. There may also be something else to it, but this is what i know as of right now.

Yep, it's the reputation indicator. However, no light does not mean that you have a bad reputation, as it can be turned off, giving no indication either way.

The green light is seen on the blue template and means that the user is currently online. You're right it belongs to the help forum and I am sending it there.

I checked out the FAQ & seen the directions for shuttin off & I dont see that option in my CP ,am I just lookin in the wrong place ,Id like to turn the little sob off..

im not bitchin but its still on :scratch:...how do I turn it off tho since I didnt see the option in CP.

Well, I had turned it off though. It has no real purpose, so I turned it off for everybody. Unless someone explain to me the good it could bring or if the boss asks me to turn it back on, it'll stay off for good.
