I'm confused because I have heard that both sides are blaming the other for starting it. We may never know the truth.

I look at it this way.. just a perspective.. Georgia likely went in thinking they were gonna get the big bully USA to back them in "cleansing" the south ossetia region of whatever it is they did not like.. Russia went in to Assist the innocent people of that community.

I simply see no reason at all why Russia would have been the aggressor.. there is no logic to that scenario. If they "Russia" wanted to seize that entire area. they could have easily done so. This is simply the American government trying to cover up more political BS.. what else is new?
