I think it is around the corner. Very soon indeed. It will be a war too not only from those who will not give in to the Feds but every nut militia will come out of the tree lines, Gangs in the city. Regular Army units operating inside of our borders. It is going to be bad.

Would that be a melee of mayhem?

It started on 9/11 or at least a week after when they signed the Patriot act. :freedom:

A lot of people will just sit back and chill because you know the feds are going to be like oh if we take your guns and keep track of all of you it will make it easier to track the bad guys and catch them.

Well, I'll be easy to track. Just use your nose to follow the gunsmoke and eyes to follow the brass trail. :machinegun:

I have no guns anymore. They've all been sold in FTF transactions here in Florida. Just this little P22 for plinking occassionally. Tough financial times require drastic actions.

As for the police state, it will come. Hurricane, Bird Flu, Widespread acts of terrorisms. It may be in pockets, or it may be throughout the United States. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week or even next month, but you will see an erosion of constitutional liberties "for the greater good" and eventually we will slip into the police state without even realizing it.

Sorry to hear about your guns. I know the feeling to get gear i must sell a gun or to pay a bill.

I sold all of mine also so my family would be safer like the government says.

I feel much better now. :)

I think its right around the corner. Its won't take much more now. With the new Presidential Directive signed on 5/9/07. We are one disaster away from a dictatorship, let it be a another Katrina size storm or a act of terror. We will be screwed.

I HEAR that!!! :shooting: :machinegun:

And I'd be right there with you had I not sold all my guns (like Miami) in FTF transactions here in Fl.

Technically, I don't have any guns to "sell". If I ever bought a gun it would be in a FTF transaction...much better deals on guns used than new you know. But...Nope...no guns here :P They may not fall for that though since I have my CCW lol...

Gunfixr
06-03-2007, 12:04 PM
I and my wife got our CCWs right after they became "shall issue", which has been around 10 yrs. now. I been buying guns for over 20 yrs. now, so no way I'm going to convince anybody all mine are gone. Oh, well, at least I have plenty of ammo. :)

"[B]efore a police state"? I posit that it already is (it's just been decorated nicely): firearms confiscation in New Orleans post hurricane, McCain/Feingold campaign law, hate crime legislation (aka criminalization of thought), operation Click-It or Ticket, rolling multi-jurisdictional road blocks. Compare the freedoms of your father's generation to those of your generation; which enjoys more freedom? It's no wonder Patrick Henry is still dead! Oh well, Papa Doc Obama wants to give us all government health care.

It started on our grandfathers watch in 1933 and has continued since . The quest should be , when will the flashpoint be.

Americans always make fun of the "bannana republics" because we are always having a revolution in order to kick out El Presidente when ever we don't like him..... and we ussualy don't like him when 25% of the people don't like him.

Here in the states 77% of the people are against Bush and yet........he is is still in power and making plans to kill more of our kids.

Americans now are to passive where all they care about is their 50" monitor, their beer and their tv games.

Me? hummmmmmmm thinking about moving out before TSHTF, thre is no hope in sight...
even if Ron Paul wins it will never go back to "normal".....is a new crazy world.

Y'all need to read Thomas Chittum's book on the Balkanization of America. There won't be a true flip a switch transition as the government won't control all the country. There will a balkanization along racial and soci-economic lines mixed in with red/blue state politics. Gonna be real interesting and just short of a mad max movie.
