I heard about it on fox news this morning but can't find much online.
It appears the Swiss are planning to fire up their particle accelerator this Sunday. The result could be a new black hole that grows out of control and destroys the earth.

I suppose there is no need to up the alert level since there would be no chance of survival at all. No need to worry about preparations other then praying for you soul. So should I plan to go blow it all Saturday?

The LHC will not be to full power until some time in October. Also numerous scientists are saying that there is only a very small chance that anything bad will happen.

Even if we don't get "holed", a stray EMP could end all of our "technical" problems for a VERY long time.

IMHO a circular area of Switzerland 27 km in circumference suddenly vaporizing and leaping skyward would be pretty spectacular. Too bad the media coverage will be interrupted.
