If Iran was completely destroyed what differance would it make, to the victory go the spoils.... if we practised this, we would not have an oil crisis/shortage/ take Irag,s oil to pay us back the billions spent on this war..... sounds terrible, but thats the way it is and should be. TO THE VICTOR GOES THE SPOILS....
