Lets look into the Manchurian candidate and see how he stacks up.
Foriegn Policy-B- Pretty much on board and see's things strategically.
Domestic Policy-B-Comes accross as a Washinton reformer.
Economy-C- Overplays the reformer bit and gets a big head.
Taxes-B- Standard conservative stance.
Civil Rights-A- He believes in them, pro2A.
Immigration-D- What is he thinking?
Trade-C-He is in somebody's pocket.
Sovereignty-C- He has been in DC too long and is caught up inglobalization.
Defense-A- Provides money and political power to the troops.
Monetary Policy-B- sound.
Budget-A- Has been a hound on Gov't Fiscal resposibility.
Old Johnny has been believing in his press lately, or maybe his brain was zapped from all those years in the Hanoi Hilton. Out of all the candidates, I vote him most likely to snap and launch the missiles.
This guy has some promise, although he is Pro-life and totally against abortion.
In my female eyes, that'a big NO-NO.
Oh, and I like this one:
In 1993, John McCain and his wife, Cindy, adopted a little girl with a cleft palate from Mother Teresa's orphanage in Bangladesh. Bridget, now in high school, has been a blessing to the McCain family and helped make adoption advocacy a personal issue for the Senator.
Ya, if he really wanted to support this adoption thing you think he could have adopted one of our very own American babies???? You know, one of the millions of kids in America that needs a good American home?
This burns me just a wee bit.
