WTSHTF, I would like to make a personal invitation to all of you in Florida, to contact me about coming to the panhandle to stay. I cannot invite you to stay at our BOL because it is only 80 acres and that will not support others, however, for any serious about surviving afterwards there is substantial land in the area around our BOL that would easily sustain several of us and it would be nice to have others in the area that I can rely on for rebuilding and survival.
However, this is only in a true apocolyptic situation. Otherwise, I will stay home and not make the hour drive. I live in a very rural area of NW Florida, and can easliy stay here and do fine, but is if it is truly EOTWAWKI then we will load up the BOV's (see other post) and grab the weapons (see other post) and the gear (see future posts) and go to the country.
I will post more cryptic info later.

The property is in Holmes County, for those interested. If you are unfamiliar with this part of Florida you will find that the neighboring counties have only about 150K or less people. We went there Yesterday to do some hunting and checking out things. The area is very good for this type of thing. I actually have thought of setting up a FTX for the Florida members interested. We could meet and go over preps and look at setting up a central location at our place to allow storage of stuff and a look at surrounding areas to squat on should SHTF. Any of you that may be interested, please let me know. We could also teach some classes on fishing, tracking, trapping, hunting, etc. for any who need the training. We could also teach basic military training. I am trying to set up a network of persons in Florida to work with.
I used to be a member of a Florida Militia site, but they were all S. FL and wanted to do all of the training in the Tampa area. 8)

Space Coast here....I have supplies and skills I'd be willing to pitch in. Anywhere away from Orlando is a safe place and the more trees the better! :)

St.Augustine here. Will be on the way your way if the need arrises. You will have a friend just a little "north of the border" as my rally point is just over the state line. May be helpful if trade can resume.

Miami here and definitely interested. We would have a bug out trailer (assuming we can evacuate) along with our cache of weapons, food and other essentials. Have some pretty useful skills including carpentry, simple gunsmithing, first aid, and most importantly a damn good cook.

I am looking at something in North Central Florida. It would not be a final destination for those traveling. But, it could be a destination to reach to rest, recoup, and regain strength.
I may find myself in the situation to ask for the same if I have to move out of that area.
I would not deal with anyone that I have not met face to face. We Floridians are not that far away from each other. We could meet each other. This message is going out over the internet, but this is not an internet invitation.

I should be relocating back to my hometown of Pensacola in a couple of months. I'll keep this thread on watch. Thanks for the offer!
