A person needs to exercise the prime survival trait of self discipline to keep in shape in our machine orientated society. Easy transportation, food acquisition, and slothful entertainment have led to the degeneration of our active bodies, and our ability to deal with an emergency situation.
Eat, drink, and be merry is the bellwether of our modern society, and it is robbing us of our natural birthright of energy and vitality.
If we intend to survive we must take the necessary steps to restore our health by proper diet, and exercise.
Walking is a great health tonic, try and walk more steps every day, and notice the positive effects on your energy levels.
Drink more good water daily, and you will eat less. Thirst is often disguised as hunger, when you feel hungry, get a big glass of water and enjoy.

I am sooo guilty. Im no lard arse.. but I aint near as hard as I used to be. :bang: thanks for convicting my conscience man.

I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Do a two week stretch of hard-core Atkins (meat, eggs, cheese, water) every 3 months. That will help purge your system and decrease excess stored fat.

Drink lots of prune juice. It helps get you off the couch.

get a nice physical job like my new one...carrying 5gal water bottles all day.
